We pour some liquid nitrogen in a puddle of water that formed on the roof right outside of the Computational Physics Lab that was being used neither for computation nor for physics. Well, I guess physics was happening.
Although it's a little difficult to tell when watching, the liquid nitrogen formed lots of small, twirling bubbles and moved through out the water, looking pretty nifty. Some of these bubbles were mercilessly slaughtered by Monica with the knife.

  • The woman in the video says it breaks after she pokes what appears to be a piece of it. Would it then make sense to assume this is actually dry ice, which aside from being much easier to obtain, could easily be kept as a 'breakable' solid, as opposed to nitrogen?
