In her book 'Sexual Personae' Camile Paglia basically illustrates the downside of our societies uncritical, over-investment in Roseaux. It is great to hear someone like her speak who can think beyond our medievally narrow horizons.

But that does not make her right about everything. Over here in the UK, we ALL think the US health debate is just weird and peculiar. Like asking people to buy their own roads, individulally. We think you are all crazy!

You are seriously confused. It's the cradle and grave health care that is the vast majority of the cost of health care, not these mythical, midlife freeloaders conservatives obsess about day and night.

And it's not Congress' "optional" insurance that's the point. It's the tax-payer funded package that is rich beyond the wildest imaginings of the public. You give zero justification why this very public insurance should not be the same as everyone else's.

LOL I have only been a grown up for 12 years according to NJ ? Wow. Camille Paglia is brillent and is my favorate liberal columnist too. I have not been reading them though. Maybe I should start. I am not very sympathetic with the rising costs of Ivey league schools. I go to a state college and it suits just fine. If you want a designer name on your diploma than pay for it.
