The Idea the BC is Lost can't happen. If the county or city issued a BC then there are multiple copies in case of fire or earthquake. Obama said he found his BC with some of his father's stuff. So there is a copy some where.

@birther1968, Correct-That was a rumor started by Jon Klein, the President of CNN, in July 2009. He claimed that Hawaiian officials discarded paper birth documents in 2001, when they went digital.
