  • mrschhm I am sorry for making a comment about your musical group member; I just want to tell the fact. I personally like Khmer folk or classical musics. I know Preab Sovat, Khat Sokim, Sokun Nisa and .. by listening to their songs in youtube, even though I cannot pick a Khmer word. I use to play Thai classical music and know that many of Thai songs adapted from Khmer. We have many common arts and culture. We may talk about these if you like.

  • @teppasit9 I accept your apology. These musicians are not professionial. They play and practice on their spare time.

  • Many of the musical instruments seen here are from Thailand, especially the ranards. Khmer has no Ranard Tum (right hand side of our). The Ranard Tum is Thai invented around 150 years ago. The guy playing it can not play. Search for Prachan and you can watch how Thais play these musical instruments.

  • @teppasit9 Thank you for the little history on whom invented the roneat thom. You are correct, most of these intrusments are from Thailand. At the time they were bought (over 10 yrs ago), it was hard to find them in Cambodia. I do thank you for your criticism, but please do not attack any of the band members. I do these kind of criticisims personally.

  • @teppasit9 *I do take these kind of crititcisms personally. I don't like your comment about my nephew. Unless you are a professor or master of Pin Peat music, i suggest you keep your mouth shut!

  • is there any cambodian instrument store anywhere in USA.i really want to buy the fiddle and the drum thats shown in the video

  • @thaiboy4life Sorry for the late reply. So far, there are none. My husband ordered his some instruments from Thailand, and some form Cambodia. You need to know the right people there.
