Michal Moore is a liar. His movies tell a lot of one sided stories with little to no facts at all. Iv'e talked to Cubans, they say sure you can go to the hospital any time you want. But there's nothing there. No meds., few doctors. They'll give you a bed to die on if you want,thats it.

Crucie most people in america dont want to give up McDonalds, high sugar/salt/starch foods, don't choose nutrition over taste, and don't choose to drink enough water..does that mean there is something of value to that deathstyle of eating JUST BECAUSE they cling to it for dear life? Just because some or most don't want to get rid of their universal healthcare, which I doubt, that doesnt mean its good or helpful.

These universal healthcare systems dont work, they bankrupt the nations that have them, and its telling that while Michael Moore talks so well about Cubas universal healthcare and criticizes our system completely, where is he choosing to live still? We COULD choose to eat organic, drink 8-10 8oz glasses of h20 per day, avoid salt and sugared foods, and go w the new food pyramid where the FDA requires us to take a nutritional suppliment (Herbalife, Quixtar, Whole Foods products, examples) but we don't and it is WE who suffer the consequences.

The pursuit of happiness is a refference to the philosophers understanding of happyness which is the good life..ie the moral life. The moral life which we have a GOD GIVEN right to, is to NOT put the blame for our health on the govnt, but ourselves.

Theres only some 13% of health issues that are not preventable. The context was in refference to THOSE kinda of PREVENTABLE problems that generally range from on set diabetes, to cancer, high cholesterol, heart disease, etc.

Where would pharmaceutical companies be IF people took care of their health? They wouldn't FEEL the need for drugs when they start preventing the health issues in the first place. Most dont need synthetic drugs, but the companies and many drs depend on you not taking care of your health so they can make money off of you. IF you decided to eat organic, drink appropriate amounts of water, and take a nutritional suppliment thus were healthy, would you need drugs or drs as much if at all? No.

Not one person in all the other two dozen industrialized nations would give up their nations' very successful universal health care plan for our for-profit insurance scam that gets rich from others' misery and sees insurance companies keep over 30% of all premium dollars for their shareholders, advertisements, etc., while people might still go bankrupt or lose a home because of illness.
