Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000 Unboxing

Just got this Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000, very nice keyboard/mouse for ude with HTPC. Not recommended for desktop use, just for fun multimedia use. This is just plain video no talking or music, if you have any questions then just comment this video and I will reply ASAP.

Question: can you use the bluetooth Dongle as a regular dongle (to transfer files, pair with other devices, listen to music wirelessly) or is it for this set only?

You opened it so slowly, the geek inside me got horny:)

Yes it works just like a normal Bluetooth dongle, I use it to stream stereo bluetooth to my headset, and works like a charm. I recommend that you use the Broadcom Bluetooth Driver, it is better than standard Windows drivers (use Windows 7 myself).

How do you make your phone for example connect? I can't find anything in the Microsoft Bluetooth to make my PC Discoverable =/
