  • Is that a Hammerfall shirt?

  • @Drankthetea that is a Hammerfall shirt - possibly the most yeshivish metal band besides for Dream Theater

  • why dont you just convert to some other religion instead of wasting time dissing the beliefs and communities of others! APIKORESS. u going to helll

  • @ecgirl100 No you're going to hell - chazal tell us to laugh and appreciate life and art, you don't so you're going to hell and to the proctologist to pull the kishke out of your ass.

  • Poor boy--saw your blog and came back to support you--look at it this way:

    1) you CAN remove the comments

    2) just think: each time someone comes and leaves a comment, they are giving you a view, which is pushing your number of views up; enough haters and you'll hit record levels!

lol anyway keep the vids coming.

And one quick ger-ish question, is it taboo to make a video about Shavuot that is funny? Why aren't there any?

  • If I removed the coments I would stooping to a GW Bush level of patriot act esque sensorship- which I abhor. Comments wil not be edeletd unless anti-semitic, racist or homophobic.

  • Im sorry ur so self conscious get over urself

  • On an observatory note, I want to commend you on your uncanny sense of observing everyone’s surroundings and articulate style. Some of the content (like parts of this post…) feels a little like talk radio that is against your ideology, which makes it difficult yet entertaining to endure.

  • Unless you mean that there is not enough population with interests in topics other than community gossip or something, as opposed to more intellectual stuff. People are like that everywhere..

  • Your reference to lack of secular culture reminds me of Rebbe Chanina ben Dosa's teaching in chapter 3 of Pirkei Avos: "He in whom the fear of sin goes before his wisdom, his wisdom shall endure; but he in whom wisdom precedes the fear of sin, his wisdom will not endure." Not that I know u or anything, but that's what came to mind...

  • lol funny vid. I grew up in Monsey and my mothers friend is exactly how you describe these people...with the readers digest in their bathroom lmao. too funny. I'm not religious though I think its all a bunch of bs as you describe it haha

  • I went to an orthodox synagogue to see a lecture by a reporter. I wore a leather jacket and no kippah.

From a secular perspective there's nothing even a little off about that. But in this environment, random people gave me angry looks the entire night.

Wow. You'd think they wouldn't make religious demands on people who were there for a non-religious reason. But they do.

Frumsatire - you should read Shalom Auslander (if you haven't yet). He grew up in Monsey too and hated every second of it.
