Wow, it doesn't sound like his instrumentation like you heard in Superman, JP, HP, ET, etc. still, it sounded great.
-
Yes he worked for both of them but the general public remembers him as a more official student for Jerry.
-
@DrZoid99 he worked for alexander courage in the 60s
-
Williams looks like Colonel Sanders here

Me too. And the fact that it sounds just like 79' is beyond great.
-
@jayce79 and even if its slower in spots, it doesnt matter...
-
@volvo145: No, Jerry Goldsmith wrote the score for The Motion Picture, and Dennis McCarthy borrowed that theme for The Next Generation, to try and get TOS Star Trek fans interested in TNG.
-
@NevadaWrangler im watching star trek tmp right now, and the music in the beginning is exactly the same as the TNG intro music.
-
So he made the theme for star trek TNG. no wonder its hte best star trek theme by far.
Space, The final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship, Enterprise. Its continuing mission to explore strange new kinds of worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where nobody or one has ever gone before.

Having John Williams conduct an orchestra to play Star Trek music blows my mind.
But it is awesome.
