This is obviously fake. He rotates up to the apex but consistently travels in one direction. If the thrust was caused by the bottles he would've at least changed direction. But that is without factoring in the offset weight. With his body weight offset to the front of the rockets it would've pitched forward instantly. He wouldn't have nearly gained that much height. To fly that kind of trajectory there would have to be a counterweight on the other side of this "jetpack." Amusing but fake.

The reason the mythbusters did not pull this off, is because they are NOT Japanese.
