It didn't really matter the song, or who recorded it before her, or how long it had been around. Once patsy sang the song, put her imprint on it, it belonged to her after that. Many of her songs I would'nt even slow down to listen to if sang by someone else, but when she sings it, I pull over!!, my attention is all hers, been that way for 50 years.
