PUNK ROCK!!
S*M*A*S*H were the flag-bearers of the so called New Wave of New Wave. How NME was that?
Still. we liked them, a lot.
This video gave us a chance to play with punk imagery, which for a pair of saddos like GOBTV was good fun.
And Louise looks ace.

Them and Manic Street Preachers were, are and always will be great bands :) today's music is so lifeless unfortunately

saw em in 92 93? still got the tickets...live in pompey..wedgewood rooms.. met them a few times..great guys..reformed at mo..missed their effin gig in southampton..gutted!!

oh wow, that's cool:) ....my God, S*M*A*S*H were so underrated, it's unbelievable....i've got some of their songs on tape, but it's hard to get their stuff on cd these days

Good video, never seen it before. Shame the band were only built up to be knocked down by the likes of the NME, I played a gig with them at the height of the media circus and they were pretty damn good live!

Thanks. They were good live. Sadly 'twas not the NME that knocked them down. Ed went to NYC, and found less exciting forms of recreation.
