Actually, the guy who starts the quote is Brian Bedford, a veteran stage actor and frequent headliner at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. Bedford won the 1971 Tony for "The School For Wives," and has been nominated for Tonys 6 times, including this year for "The Importance of Being Earnest."
Bedford and Woodward were lifelong friends and stage co-stars. Bedford appeared in 2 more "Equalizer Episodes," including "Beyond Control."
