I laugh anytime ANYONE eats a fish out of the Del River from the entrance to the Del Bay all the way past Philly, fish advisory all in that area.

ha ha. the fact that there's fish in a body of water doesn't mean it's not contaminated. it just means the fish can handle the contamination.

Huge amount of healthy fish in the city! Stripers, Bass, Sunnies, Huge Carp, Large Channel Cats, and the king of the river...the Flatheads reach 40+ pounds and 4 feet long. Largest I got so far is 26lbs, 39 inches (got a video posted of it for proof)

I would not eat any fish from the schuykill or the Delaware. Both were extremely polluted in the past from industry. I am sure the river bed sediments contain lots of toxic stuff like PCB's and heavy metals.
