Simple Melody

Het zal waarschijnlijk in 1983 zijn geweest, dat Jack een 12 minuten durend gitaar recital van zijn vader Sjeng magnifiek vastlegde.

Helemaal in zijn element vertolkt opa hier zijn geliefde openingsnummer, dat door Irving Berlin in 1914 is gecomponeerd, voor de Broadway productie "Watch your step".

"Simple Melody" is ondermeer door Bing Crosby in 1931 opgenomen.

Maar deze versie is gedeleet, voor de overzichtelijkheid en is sowieso nu overbodig!

Thank you, on behalf of my late grandfather, who'd be thrilled (he died in 1999) to know there would be so much interest worldwide in his performances :)
