I occasionally see people online who say that we need to be angry about what's going on in the government and in the world. Angry about it! We need to get pissed. They say that if I don't have those feelings, then it means I don't care about what's going on. But I don't agree. Hate and fear and anger and being pissed is not the answer. I completely agree with David, here. Love is definitely the answer for me. We can still make changes in the world with LOVE as the base emotion--not fear.

@TheCarolynMusic Exactly! Out of love for ourselves, we resist tyranny and enslavement. Out of love for our fellow man, we encourage them to learn to love themselves and do the same.

Somehow we have come to beleive that loving ones self is somehow not a virtuous act. But in reality, when you really do reach the level of true love for yourself, and reach the state of the understanding of your power through your personal sovereignty, you become far more connected with your fellow man!
