It has come out that Hussein lied about WMDs, chemical weapons and all that stuff because he was more afraid of Iran than the West.

This congressman is right why should the US engage in nation building in Afghanistan when the locals are not interested in it themselves.

The US does not want to "lose" the war in Afghanistan but come on even Alexander the Great abandoned his campaign in Afghanistan.

US never tried any 'nation building' because they never have and never will care about the ordinary Afghani

This a brave man. He was elected in one of the most Republican districts in the northeastern US. He speaks his conscience, and echos the beliefs of intelligent voters who think for themselves, who turn off the right wing hate machine and war mongering. Thank you, Rep. Massa!!
