Indian Tea

Loss of bio-diversity soil erosion and chemical pollution are only some of the problems that arise out of rampant destruction of forests in favour of plantations. There would be many more I am not even aware of. All said, I can't help admit that tea plantations look beautiful and those green manicured hills are a treat to the eyes. But when we are looking at these things, it helps to be aware of the trouble that comes with them.
