Falling in Love with You

Chapter Two
It's been two weeks since I started working at Waffle House. It's just as crappy as I expected. Although I am starting to appreciate it- it keeps me busy and it keeps my mind off Abby, who is my best friend that moved 3 months ago. So basically I have no friends anymore. Anyway back to job- tonight was pretty magical.
I was sitting there, refilling salt and pepper shakers when a family with three gorgeous guys that I recognized at once- The Jonas Brothers. Of course I'm a fan seeing how I'm a loser and I still watch disney channel and love it. So there I sat, spilling salt all over the countertop. I felt a nudge from Brooke, my co-worker. I immediately went to serve their table.
There was nobody in there, seeing how it was like 11:30 p.m. I decided on my way over to their table that I wouldn't scream or be all OMJ IT'S THE JONAS BROTHERS!!!! I would just act normal and keep it professional. After I took their drink orders, I figured I couldn't handle it any longer and the only way to survive was to turn the job over to Brooke. To keep myself busy, I started to mop the floor. Every now and then I would sneak a glance. They looked totally normal. Just eating, sharing a funny story and just sharing a family dinner.
Nick got up from the booth. I thought they were leaving but I was wrong. He went to the restroom. Then a minute later I walked right into him as he came out of the restroom door and slipped on the wet floor. He caught me just in time. I felt like a complete idiot as he held me. He smiled and asked if I was okay. I was extremely embarrassed that I couldn't speak so I nodded my head yes. He help me stand up and suddenly he got this idea, I guess. He ran over to the jukebox and chose a song. I didn't recognize it- some old cheesy love song. Then to my complete surprise, he started to walk my way. He stopped in front of me and simply held out his hand and said, " Would you care to dance?"
So here is my train of thought: What is this song? Why is he walking over here? Ahh.. He is so cute Why is he holding out his hand? I've got my balance back now, I'm not going to fall again. Wait, WHAT? He wants to dance! OMG OMG OMG!!
Still in my silent mode, I nodded my head again and placed my hand in his. Man, sparks were flying, well for me at least. He guided me to the "dance floor" (aka the middle of waffle house). He placed my hand that he was holding onto his shoulder and places his on my waist. Nervously, I put my other hand on his other shoulder. The awkward level was enormous and it didn't help when Joe and Frankie were all like AWWW! As soon as the song was over, Nick squeezed me into a hug and whispered into my ear," This was our first dance but definitely not our last." Butterflies soon filled me- well actually joined the ones that were already there. After Mr. Jonas paid they left just as soon as they came.
