I learned to cook from watching his shows as a 15 yr old in 1968. Like the lady said, he was funny and made cooking a blast to do.

I loved watching The Galloping Gourmet with my mom when I was a kid. What always amazed me the most was how he could slice food so fast with his fingers so close to the knife, and never once cut himself.
It's really great to see he's still alive and cooking.

I watched him with my Grandma as a kid. We just loved his show. It was hilarious. It's regrettable that the guilt of this new age has crept into a most wonderful memory via Ms. Cradock here. We should all enjoy some rich foods now and then in moderation. It's part of what makes life worth living. :)

He was always a very dirty man

He was amazing, loved him then and love him now.

Fanny was a real pain in the fanny.

What is his wife's problem? His food didn't kill people, his food was awesome! Over indulgence of anything is bad for you. Learn portion control- stay away from overly processed foods-add fresh veggies and fruits to your meals then you can eat anything.

My Childhood, Thank You Graham!

Thanks a lot for posting i really love this guy
I LOVED the galloping gourmet.. He was funny and entertaining and good clean fun.. Ur stil better than Emeril.. Sorry Emeril.. He was what made me love cooking.. his food was NOT disgusting. I think everyone should be accountable for what they put in their face..

That was really interesting. I too grew up watching Kerr and loved that he made food fun. He and his wife seem to have a great relationship. Lovely, just lovely.
