I was at that game, the refs were trying as hard as they could to let the islanders lose the series, after a clear goal that would have tied the game with 1 minute left was called off and isles fans were disgusted and were basically trowing debris at the refs in retaliation

Islanders fans are like that kid in high school who has his whole life planned out ahead. He's going to go to harvard, and then get a high paying job, and then make millions. Islanders fans say oooh we're going to draft Tavares, and then by 2015 we'll make the playoffs and by 2020 we'll win the cup. I bet the isles turn into a Quebec/Colorado situation where immediately after they move they win the cup.

Actually, if people knew a thing or two about the Islanders, is that they ARE getting better. I hate those people who just say " ISLANDERS SUCK, ISLANDERS SUCK ". Seriously? you watch in a year or two when all of their prospects kick ass in the NHL.
