@wwwitalianica Not "z" but "tz" (yeah in Italian "z" is "tz/ts"). I know what you're saying. In Europe ce/ci sounds like tche/tchi; ge/gi sounds like dje/dji, ti=tsi. I'm from Europe and I know the Latin they teach in Europe. But here in the US Latin has another pronunciation.

Father Matthew please lean Latin!
"ti" in Latin language sound "z"

Hello Fr. Matthew!
I am a high school student in Cleveland, Ohio ... and I am Roman Catholic. But, I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me! I watch all of your videos and I even shared your Lectio Divina video with my Religion teacher in school and she loved it so much that she shared it with our class!! Thank you for all you do!
Peace!

Great tool. Is there a group doing this at Christ Church that might be open to join?

Maybe it's just so we'll grow spiritually as we wrestle with the text.

It sounds a bit like the old saying, "Read, learn, mark and inwardly digest" - as the Book of Common Prayer had it?
