Halloween 3 (1982) review

Daniel Challis, a doctor in a northern California hospital treats a scared old man, Harry Grimbridge screaming, "They are going to kill us!" and clutching a Halloween mask from the number-one best-selling Silver Shamrock mask company. But later Daniel is shocked when later that night: Harry is murdered in his hospital bed and the killer walks calmly to a car and blows himself up. His curiosity is more piqued when Harry's daughter Ellie arrives and tells Daniel that Harry was scared ever since he tried looking into the origins of the masks, since no orders for them are being taken for the following year. Daniel and Ellie go to Santa Mira, home of Silver Shamrock, to uncover what happened and are horrified to find out that the owner of the mask company, Conal Cochran, is planning to use the masks and some black magic as one great Halloween trick on the children who are wearing his masks that coming Halloween. As time draws near on Halloween night, Daniel must stop Cochran from sending the signal out to activate the masks and he can only do that if he can get out of Cochran's huge mask factory alive....

The Halloween series was not supposed to be about Myers. John wanted to make a movie series with various Halloween stories. Then everyone cried because Michael was not in this, and he did not want anything apart of a character who never dies; thus, Halloween 4 was not created by John. Michael was supposed to be dead at the end of two. I say watch 1,2,3, and 6.  4 & 5 were crap, the only reason I like 6 because they try, and give him a reason to kill. True Halloween fan....

@ctcthompson52 I wish people would check my other videos before explaining to me "John killed Myers off in HII." If you guys would check my videos you'd understand that I'm a big Halloween fan and have a huge collection. But aside from people think they're explaining something new to me. Halloween 6 is shit. Just because they "tried" doesn't mean they get full credit. And yet you hate H4 and H5, but they tried correct? Your reasons just don't make sense to be honest.

III: Season of the Witch is one of the best in the franchise. The score alone is absolutely fantastic. Horror synth at it's finest, which really set the tone and atmosphere. But they seriously play it on TV far too much during Halloween. I'm already burnt out on it and I'll 'never' watch it again. :P It doesn't have that rewatchable factor like 1, 2 and even 3 have.

But you have to take in consideration of how well done it was, H3 was the last movie that Carpenter had any part in, even though he didn't direct 2 and 3, they both have the classic carpenter music and cinematography, Don't skip it, its the last good movie of the series.

This movie failed because it was called Halloween 3.It should have been called Season of the Witch.It should have stood alone.It had a good plot about an evil toy maker trying to kill children on halloween with witchcraft.

I thought this was a good film , the reason is that people were curious as to why Carpenter didn't follow the first sequel's story; revolving around Michael Myers. And there was a plot explained towards the end by Conal Cochran, something to do Celtic rituals and the lining of the planets.

HALLOWEEN 1,2,3 & 6 ARE THE BEST ! THE REST SUCKED. SO HALLOWEEN 3 DID NOT HAVE MICHAEL MYERS EXPAND YOUR BRAIN 2 NEW PLOTS. OPEN YOUR EYES 2 A GREAT STORY REGUARDLESS.
