"Everything" by Lifehouse, drama performed at WCG LA Church.

The main girl (Deanna) sort of represents all of humanity...the guy in white (Abel) represents God/Jesus, and the others all represent different sins or temptations, like lust (Ben), money (Steven), drinking (me, Melinda), vanity and eating disorders (Gelli), cutting (Greg), and suicide.

Other "Everything" dramas that I've been in - search for "Everything drama - Lifehouse - SEP Version" (the first one I was ever in, I played the main girl), or "Everything drama - NewLife version" (I also played the main girl as well as directed it).

A lot of people have been asking how we learned this and how they can too: The way we learned it was by having someone be our director (me, in this case) who just watched other videos of this drama over and over, studied them, and took notes on them. By using the notes, we learned to do the whole thing. You can easily do it yourself...don't bother asking around for a "script" or something. If you want to learn it and teach a group, just watch a few different versions of this. Pick the parts you like best about each, and make it your own version. Then take some detailed notes that include cues on when each character comes in and does what (this is especially important for the Jesus character, because he needs to know when to "create" what so that the whole thing goes at the right pace)...and then you'll do great!! :) For those of you reproducing this, I hope everything goes great and God uses you all to really reach people! ^_^

Remember, God is always with you, even if it seems like He's not. All you have to do is reach out for Him. :)
Acts 17:26-28 (The Message Version)
"Starting from scratch, God made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable, with plenty of time and space for living so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn't play hide-and-seek with us. He's not remote; he's near. We live and move in him, can't get away from him! One of your poets said it well: 'We're the God-created.'"

  • I had an idea for this, because usually the main girl has a black shirt that gets torn away, well maybe she could be wearing two white shirts, and each bad guy that comes out smears like something black on the shirt, and by the end that shirt is gone and her clean white one is there, you know?? idk if its a good idea or not. but i thiought it would be cool. And i liked the way you guys did it :}

  • @grrimalionbaby that's a really neat idea....i like it!

  • Is the main girl always have to be a girl..or could it be a guy??

  • i've seen it once with a guy. you just have to change a lot of things, like the body image thing was changed to weight lifting. be creative :)

  • Hey! Great skit! I'm doing this (very!) soon as 'money'. I'm a girl (16) and don't have anything like the people in the other vids were wearing. Does anybody have any ideas? Should I go with the business man(woman) type thing this skit has? Thanks!

  • if you're doing this skit for adults, the business woman might be a good idea, but if you're doing these to teens, it will be better to go with something that relates to them. just just fashionable/srylish, but what teens do with money is buy clothes, typically...

  • This is propably the best drama I've ever seen... That "cause you're all I need..." part, when she throws the gun away, it is so powerful scene, and it always makes me cry!
