Check out some great sportsfishing Action for GT's off Mackay. Spinning Poppers for some Giant Trevally, Also commonly referred to GT's, Phenomenal fish and pull like a freight train. Check this GT out, went 16kg on 30lb Braid, and you can tell, the anglers Stuffed. GT was released to catch again, with Reefari releasing all GT's. Our best GT has pushed 35kg, with numerous fish over 20kg. Awesome fun and fishing like no other. Reefari runs sportsfishing charters specialising in trolling and casting poppers and stickbaits for these Giant Trevally, Spanish Mackerel, Queenfish and other sportsfish around the southern Whitsunday islands. Even caught 3 bonefish the other day off Mako, so another exciting new fishery to pursue when we get chance. Enjoy, Please subscribe for more great fishing action and tips, Apologies for the swearing!!

  • hey is the ugly stik tiger a good rod for freshwater? please recomend some please

  • The ugly stik is a good fishing rod, I'm not particular in the know with the tiger? But I've used them in the past and had no problems, and they last a long time. Check with your locaal tackle shop and I'm sure they can match it with the fishing style you're after, and line class you're using,

    Cheers Greg

  • Braided....hell yeah.

  • You need serious Braid for GT's, we recommend minimum 50lb up to 100lb,

    Cheers Greg

  • Took you a while to look that up matey... The name's Damon, spell it backwards and you got my business' name. Save your pennies boyz, and come out for a day with us...

  • I didn't do the filming and apparently the guy in the video is now the captain on Nomad? I didn't need to look anything up!!

    Cheers Greg
