I observe the standoff between protesters and police in riot gear. As the crowd appears to re-assemble, so does the police presence (although there were more police in that small area than I'd ever seen in person before.
At the heart of the video, a young brotha explains loudly "Non-Violent, but we cannot trust you, tonight! I'm sorry."
Toward the end of the video, one of the protesters apparently sees a riot cop smiling and antagonizes him to do it again saying "Get me Paid."
It's curious that our God-given, in- and un- aLIENable rights (meaning, of course that no lien can be placed upon them) are denied because of the ever-vigilant, & often anonymous, complainer. "'Someone' complained about a man who matches your description..." etc. The "wellness check" allows the police to enter your house because a compassionate neighbor (who shall remain anonymous) expressed his concerns about the mental and/or physical well-being of you & yours. How touching.

Military or National Guard should have done a clean sweep of that area. Better yet get the fire department to hose these protesters down to chill them out. As a tax payer I want to live in a safer society. I feel safer with more and more and more police presence around. People should fear authority if you don't fear them then you cause anarchy and destruction of a stable society.
