There is a grinding sound only between neutral and first gear. The clutch has been fully inspected and given a clean bill of health. The next likely culprit is the cush drive (Christmas Tree), which is a big bummer because the engine has less than 15 miles on it since the rebuild. This is the process of removing the least amount or parts to gain access to the cush drive. The next step is rebuild the cush drive.
