@rslitman Jackie Trent's version was also quite good. Basically almost ALL the versions were better than the Ronnettes'. They COULD have done this song quite well, but Phil Spector for some reason thought that "the record-buying public" wanted to hear an EXTREMELY slow, densely layered record in 1965...
