Easy-EIGRP, an implementation of the EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) protocol developed in Java. Its main goal is to be used as a didactic application in introductory and advanced network courses to support the teaching and learning of EIGRP. Easy-EIGRP has a user-friendly, flexible and robust graphical user interface that allows users to configure all relevant aspects of the network and the EIGRP protocol. It also provides a partial network viewer, an integrated event logger and sniffer, a protocol table viewer, and a graphical viewer of the DUAL (Diffusing Update Algorithm) finite state machine. The initial teaching experiments that we conducted with the usage of Easy-EIGRP indicate that it can dramatically facilitate the learning of EIGRP. Additionally, Easy-EIGRP can be used in a production network as a functional but very limited implementation of the EIGRP protocol.

@palashmitra000 ... The 4 shells you appreciate on the video are actually Cisco's CLI
Although we did not use GNS3 on this demo, we did lots of experiments and we assembled a great amount of scenarios using GNS3. Why? Simple, we do not possess more than five real routers and we wanted to test the behavior of Easy-EIGRP using more than 5 (which we were able to do using GNS3).
We also tried mixed scenarios: GNS3 + Cisco Systems real routers + VMware + Others PC running Easy-EIGRP... etc.

@palashmitra000 Hi,
Easy-EIGRP (EE) can be executed directly on the PC (without using any VMware), however, we used it in this demo just to have an appropriate and clean environment for our application. This VMware was configured with all the pre-requisites and libraries needed in order to execute EE
In this demo GNS3 was not used. All the adjacencies and package exchange were directly managed with Cisco Systems routers model 2811.
