US soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq often have close air support, but someone has to help the pilots know what the ground forces are facing in order to keep their fire on target. That's where Air Force Joint Terminal Attack Controllers come in.

  • @McDogginified You forgot the PJ's and the Tier 1 operators like the 24th sts.

  • 4th ID...hooah

  • @McDogginified harsh, but it's ok we still get the better bases and facilities so talk all you want.

  • The only people worth a damn in the Air Force.

  • Korengal. That's some crazy shit. Glad we're outtah there.

  • @OldBreedWarrior That's an Airman 1st Class rank. He has it on the proper way.

  • the soldier at 0:44 has his insignia patch upside down haha

  • boming has is counter productive. close airsupport is never counter productive.

  • Don't kid yourselves, USAF JTACs are the best in the business of CAS; better than CCT or SEAL JTACs. Others train until they get it right but we train until we can't get it wrong. Only a JTAC gets to say "Cleared hot" on the mike.

  • @risk3715 Yes it is easy..proven in 1961 in the Milgram studies. Look it up! Now it is easy to understand why the Einsatzgruppen der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD did what they did. All four units! Humans are influenced by authority and peer pressure and this experiment shows it as well as the one conducted just recently. All was the same test! So be careful when you speak about human nature...we are animals of course!
