@bucksnbeards72 I'm using a Canon Vixia HV40, very nice camera! Though it's really nice quality, the lens open up automatically upon starting up the camera and does make a bit of noise in the process

neither!!! the dang cam fell out of my shirt pocket as i was docking the boat to the wall that seperates the boats from going into the chanel that feeds into the power plant that chanel is reds heaven im so used to wearing my fishing shirt and that has flaps with velcro on the pockets so i dont have to worry about my stuff falling well i wasnt wearing my fishing shirt on that day : (

@TieOneOnFishingProd Ah man! That sucks! I wish my cam could fit into my pocket, but I don't think the lens hood and shotgun mic would fit! Lolol, it's a HD cam so it's worth it I guess!

yea i wish i still had my old cam that one you could turn off everything no sound at all but its resting in peace at the bottom of calaveras lake now :(

@TieOneOnFishingProd I hear ya man, my cam opens it's lens when it turns on and makes a lil bit of noise when it does, same for when it turns off, but as long as it isn't dead quiet out, I'm all good, haven't spooked any off yet atleast, lol
