Its funny how our Filipino ancestors hated the Spanish for taking over our country and wanted to drive them away. Now today a majority of us are all embracing Spanish culture and telling everyone else that we have Spanish descent when asked about our background (mainly because we had Spanish sounding surnames in our family) yet we look Asian and not European at all when standing next to Spaniards... >_>
