This camp site is on an island on Ralph Bice Lake. We ran into a black bear the next day this video was taken on the portage to Daisy Lake.

  • thanks for sharing as this is a really beautiful and inspiring.

how long does it take to get to the lake from hwy 60?

    thanks.

  • The Algonquin park access point (#3) is only 30 - 45 minutes away from Huntsville. Ralph Bice lake is just two short portages from the 3rd access point. After the second portage starting from Hambone lake, you need to canoe to the end of Ralph Bice lake as there is one large Island (close to the right shore) with 3 camp sites. All sites on the island are pretty good but this video is the best of the 3 by far.
