@guitarhero1973 The video was put together by a socialist who found those images entertaining for associating Obama with socialism. Obama certainly has socialist tendencies but that is nothing to be paranoid about. The US could use alot more socialism to help prevent disasters like the horrendous oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Corporations need major regulation, if they should exist at all.

The earth's resources should belong to everyone, not small groups of people.

Obama is no more socialist than David Cameron. People in the US need to realise that left wing ideas have delivered the most successful, egalitarian and democratic societies in the world with standards of living well above the US. What Obama and the Democratic party argue for would be laughed out of court in most developed north European countries with the exception of the UK. Stop watching Fox and read books such as '23 Things about Capitalism they don't want you to know' and The Spirit Level

I knew the young Obama. He was definitely a Marxist in 1980/1981. So was his Oxy roommate, Mohammed Hasan Chandoo. I knew them both.

It's pretty amazing that the USA thinks Obama is socialist. In South Africa (here), he'd be considered right-wing. Ditto the comments below: go to europe (prosperous nations) and you'll see socialism.

But if you measure them empirically, bush was a lot closer to being a facist than obama ever came to being a socialist. True facists loved bush.
