A tribute video I made while practising editing skills and track synch.
Pretty hard with only 4 video and 4 audio channels XD

This will probably get taken down but what the hey, it's basically an advert for DVDs isn't it?
Oooh that reminds me, a remastered edition of First Contact is now out on Blu-Ray! Go buy it :)

Star Trek is property of Paramount studios. Footage sources:
- Star Trek: First Contact
- Star Trek: Nemesis
- Star Trek - Deep Space Nine: The Sacrifice of Angels

  • Where is the scene with the hundreds of ships from?

  • @crombiekid262 It's from the final double episode of Deep Space Nine, "What You Leave Behind".

  • i dont get it? what was the editin proceedure? didnt u just put a music track over some clips?

liek, duuuur on me prolly. haha! : P

  • @oojamaflipper The trick is to 'pin' events in the footage to events in the music, and then arrange the clips around the pins. It's quite difficult when you don't have control over the tempo of the music.

  • oh starfed, you are such a dork! LOL. Nice work, I enjoyed it immensely.

  • @fiusux12 A dork with editing software, sooo dangerous XD

  • 0:30 that bird of prey was destroyed by friendly fire! ROFL!

  • Very nice video.

  • Star Trek = pure awsome

  • cool star trek

  • Nicely put together sir. Trek dosen't have too many battle scenes, but when they do they're done well.

Re: Star Trek Online, it's shaping up to be a great game, but at the moment it's a bit bare bones. If you ever do plan on playing it, I suggest waiting 6 months till it fills out a bit.
