These photos were taken after the Earth, Wind & Fire concert at the Chevy Center in the fall of 2006. The city was alive with people and energy. The hazy night provided for some very interesting photo ops.

  • The downtown is actually pretty nice now, and it's getting nicer by the week. Downtown is actually safer than the parking lots of the malls. The neighborhoods east and south of downtown are still pretty bad, but every city has bad areas. you just have to know where they are.

  • Ah, Youngstown, Ohio, the place of my birth. My family and I moved away in '63 for the wilds of Southern California. I was just knee-high to a grasshopper back then, but now, after serving 21 years in the Air Force, bouncing all over the world, and finally settling down in Las Vegas, Nevada, I still have a soft spot in my heart for Youngstown. I dream of one day returning and living out the remainder of my days in the beauty of northeastern Ohio... in Younstown. Maybe someday...

  • @animator297 No, it's called renovate and restore the historic buildings for new use, not tear them down and build new ones, especially when there is no need for more buildings in this town that has lost 3/4 of its peak population.

  • try living there

  • they need to knock the rest of the old abandoned buildings down and build new ones and it'll be good to go

  • Im from youngstown .. And this music dont suit us . Try bustinn at em by flocka
