THIS IS AN AWESOME FLYING PLANE! WORTH THE BUY,
my 1st plane which is also a warbird, easy to control no joke. yes but once u crash it... splash. start picking up the pieces. ultimately, good control, smooth rolls and powerful OUTRUNNER motor!

Hey, How is that transmitter? Worth your $40?

I'm very satisfied with the Exceed transmitter.
The only thing where for me would be the difference with more expensive ones like Spektrum, Futuba etc,
would be the fact that you need your PC to program it. (aka take your laptop to the field ;) )
The setup requires a little bit of practice, but you should get the hang of it within an hour or so.
And I never, ever had range issues :)
So yes, for me it's worth so much more than 40 bucks!

had any problems with cracks and broken landing gear?

I chrashed this plane hard (fuselage in 10 pieces) for about 3 times, but the great thing is that all you need is some hot-glue to fix it.
The landing gear can take a beating, but if it breaks of you can always glue it back in.
As soon as I stopped crashing all the time I bought a new fuselage, wich is still 100% intact today :)
