@borman70129 The difference is most people "Gang Related" here in the states kill for no other reason than you were wearing a wrong color in a wrong neighborhood, people in this film have a some logic behind their crime.. its twisted but non the less makes certain sense.

this might sound stupid, whatever, but couldn't you use wooden ashes mixed with some water for tattoo ink? I don't know if that would be unsafe to use/ just a thought

All basic differences aside, notice the difference between the actual mentality of these prisoners as opposed to prisoners in America. Very interesting.
