Ever wonder where all those meeting stones came from? The Stonecrafter deals with a changing World (of Wacraft) in this piano-led short. Created for Blizzard's "Rise to Power" machinima contest. From slashdance, the makers of "Redshift" and "Frame of Mind."

  • @drksquee Looks like an S to me for Summoning Stone.

  • I never cry. This made me want to cry.

  • aww almost made me cry

  • Don't know why people are kidding themselves, the LFG system is much better than the previous system. You'd sit around in trade chat for an hour trying to get a tank for Scarlet Monestary, but nobody wanted to, you always ended up getting boosted through it, yeah you got free gear and exp but it was boring. It wasn't until level 60 where it was actually fun, and even then you only ever did five mans with your guild.

  • Not gonna lie was, and still am, one of the ones who still Hail LFD as one of the best things to ever happen to WoW at the stage of life it was at.

....I almost cried watching this. I remember when we used to use these things....now with the rise of Guild Levels not even the raid stones get used that much.

Surely there must be something these lonely Monoliths can do in this day and age..

  • In my experience, the LFG system has removed any sense of obligation or comradery in a dungeon. I meet some great people in the LFG system and wish I could play with them more, but I probably wont' ever see them again. I just wish there was only 1 single WoW server with ten gazillion people on it...sigh.

  • @spud042 and finally let people play a game.

  • @Shysouth85 It's called joining a guild - you would never have those problems if you were in a guild.
