  • LOL 6:24 KANEDA, IS GAY!!!!!! :3

  • @Sonicfanartlover123 HAHAHAHAH lol at first i was like what? then i listened to it again i was like HAHAHHA holly shit lol

  • Trivia: Streamline had nothing to do with "the Streamline dub" (shown in this video). Actually, this dub was made in Los Angeles and was commissioned by the original Japanese studio. Akira was bringing in a ton of money in Japan, so they wanted to get it to America as quickly as possible...and back in the late 80's, no anime had any chance of coming to America unless it had a dub. So this dub was done quickly and poorly (according to Streamline itself), and Streamline bought the rights to it.

  • @TheShockMaster Well overall i think for its time this dub was appropiet. im actually glad theres two dubs both have good things to bring to the table. I like the cheezy corny atmosphere of this one but I LOVE the cleaner new one two. No matter what akira is good to me haha im a freakin akira crack whore haha!

  • Well at least in this dub Kaneda name isn't pronounced badly :/

  • @CalamityM Actualll this movie pronounces his name wrong. Pioneer says it the correct way. In this one they say it as Kah-neyda when it should be like kaneh-da

  • I personally like the way Pioneer dubbed and scripted the lines but my only issue is that Tetsuo's moans in the Pioneer version arent very scene fitting compared to this version.

  • @Sonicfanartlover123 I don't get it.. am I blind?

  • i like this dub better simply because cam clarke is my favorite voice actor. alot of people complain about it, i mean once you get into the movie you kinda get past the acting itself. one thing this does have over the pioneer is the mixing of the audio (voices/music/sound effects), in the pioneer the voices sound too clean and polished. I never really got the impression they were in an empty stadium.

imo both dubs aren't that good anyway, the jap version is where it's at (Y)

  • do u know how hard it is to find this dub with dvd audio and features on it? i had to burn this dub's audio fram laser disc and the picture from blu ray. than i synced them together and burned it off. lol. now i'm not gonna trash on the pioneer dub. but i just prefer the streamline dub. i guess because it was the first dub i watched lol

  • @YouGot4Shotted well then ur lame

  • Why, that wasn't scary at all.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna change my bedsheets, someone peed on them.

  • @tokyorider2019

I hate it when English voice actors try to act Japanese and pronounce the names that way.... it just sounds weird.

  • What is the difference between the Streamline and the Pioneer dub? Well, no one is really familiar with the Streamline voices, while the Pioneer voices are pretty much the major voices in Bleach...

  • @Sonicfanartlover123

HAHAHAHA OMG I CAN'T UNHEAR IT XD

  • @YouGot4Shotted

Agreed. Streamline Tetsuo is a much better screamer.

  • Kaori 8..(
