Solidarity that works! Haiti concert promotes dignified partnership
OTTAWA -- Building dignified partnerships with the people of Haiti is the goal of a benefit concert in Ottawa this coming Saturday night.
Ayiti Vivan 2011 will feature: Montreal-based veteran Haitian writer and storyteller Jean-Claude Martineau (Koralen), progressive hip hop artists Vox Sambou of Nomadic Massive, and EMRICAL, who will join a superb collection of Ottawa-based talents: Christophe Elie, Ferline Regis, Pazapa Dance School and Tanbou Lakay.
This year's theme is "Konbit tout Ayisyen, tout jenerasyon, toupatou" (Solidarity without borders)

WHERE: Bronson Centre, 211 Bronson Avenue, Ottawa
All proceeds will go to projects funded by AKASAN, a Canadian-registered organization run by Haitians, for Haitians, that mobilizes resources to support Haitian capacity building initiatives in their homeland.
