Interesting. Ive heard of barefoot running before and thought it sounded like bunk. Maybe I'll give it another look.

I thought it sounded INSANE! So it was quite a shock to find out after years of experiencing debilitating knee pain every time I tried to run, it's suddenly as effortless and pain-free as walking--but with the great aerobic sensation of running.

I'm definitely going to give this a try. I'm not really interested in being barefoot, but running in shoes with little to no support seems to make a lot of sense now. I noticed that the Runner's World website even has a community on their forum with a lot of advice for beginners.
