  • I dont kno whose putting up these smoke screen video about GR or whut ethnicity u r, but i'm AA and currently live in GR and i have been taunted and discriminated on and deprived access here more than any other city that I've live in. GR is a highly segregated city. All festivals, special events, arenas events, coffee shops, theaters, parades, colleges r all mainly caucasian, and a lot of them show they dont welcome AA. Since the have treated me like that bcuz of my color the feeln is mutual.

  • @Israelrising Im putting up these videos, I love the Grand Rapids area.

Im sorry it isnt working out for you.

  • hey nice vid, i grew up there too. by the way, whats the name of that band¿ thanks -amsterdam

  • That is R.L. Burnside. The song is "it's bad you know" from the HBO series the Sopranos.

I hope to go to Amsterdam some day to find family.

  • The skyline has changed a lot since this video. I don't care for the rather dum de dum music.

  • @grandrapids Are you from holland?

  • "I didn't mean to kill nobody," Burnside later said of the murder. "I just meant to shoot the sonofabitch in the head. Him dying was between him and the Lord."

He served 3-6 months in prison for murder, then was released for to bring in his crop.

    A good man, nevertheless.

  • Great Job from a fellow Grand Rapids Channel
