What are them traps made of i fish out of Nova Scotia , Canada and never seen em like that our traps are made from wooden bows and laths staple gunned and pour some concrete and a way you go but what do you guys use for weight?

Here in New Hampshire USA we have pots made from coated wire. I visited Mull for a few days in 2009 and took a close look at the way your pots are. I see the frame is basically strips of a rubber tire. Any special reason? or just being efficiant? I take people out on deep sea fishing charters,Taylor'd Charters, in Gulf of Maine from Rye Harbor, New Hampshire, hence, my interest in your boat styles etc. We will visit again during Sept 2012. Grandad lived in Tain. Great Aunt in Glasgow.
