Who do you think smokes hops? Let us know at bullshit@flyingdogales.com. This video goes into the brewhouse with Flying Dog Ales Head Brewer Matt Brophy and Prez Eric Warner. Grain case, mash tun and whirlpool explained. Bubbling Fermentation, a pull off the pigtail, and a close look at the resin-y goodness of hops. Hold on! Can you really smoke that stuff? Again email us at bullshit@flyingdogales.com

  • I brew my own beer and I would love to try that. I will ask around.

  • 2:30-2:42... hahahaha. i once saw in a book from the 70's how you could splice the top of a hop plant into the bottom of a ganja plant and the hops would contain the thc so big brother wouldnt know u were growin herb. i wonder if ya did this if the hops would keep all the hop resins and oils, and contain the addition of thc. lets say ur makin a homebrew, a nice ipa w/ 5oz of hops... 50 beer yield... drink 2-3 beers = 1/4 thc-hops. might get ya feelin pretty damn nice :)

  • hops and buds... the best plants period

  • picked up the double pale ale tonight. Its great tasting.

  • wow.. look at that blow-off bucket go!
