Haha that punch was hilarious. Its obvious the the punch wasn't preemptive so I applaud him for what he did. The kid stood up for himself.

Seriously?? You just said prison is for people who commit aggravated assault!! What would you consider the kid punching him?? Aggravated and what did he do?? He assaulted him!! But going to prison, no he shouldn't but getting kicked off the team is completely acceptable

No, I don't condone the conduct of the St. Philip player, and yes he has been punished accordingly. He was removed from the basketball team and will have a hearing with the school board, and athletic director about his decision making, or lack there of.
However, to label this kid as a criminal is preposterous. To really suggest prison as a consequence is completely ubsurd. Prison is for criminals; drug dealers, rapists, white collar criminals, aggravated assault, etc.

and that St. Phillip player should not only be suspended forever from any sports but a sucker punchin punk like that should be put in prison. I don't care how old he is or what caused such a violent reaction. PRISON. I would like to know that lil punks name and what punishment he received. If he ever takes the field or the court again I would LOVE TO BE THERE.
