@goodguysdoll I have BB's CD with this track which I purchased in '85. Caren's CD came out in 2001? Origional?

When this is the song that you hear every morning played for you before school, you know who wrote it
-
god this is awfully bangy. ms. levine has this on her album of original compositions with the same title. it sounds very much the same. the first pages or so are identical. then levine gives it her own treatment. she told me that BB wrote the melody only, and that she did the rest. She said he was just some guy from a rock band she knew from years ago. If what levine says is true, it seems like BB copied her treatment, because they sound exactly the same for much of the beginning. Weird.

billy barber wrote this- i know for a 100 percent fact.

Why do neither you nor Caren Levine give credit to each other for co-writing this? On her CD she indicates it was co-written with Billy Barber. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO WROTE THIS???

unbelievable, feels like flowers blooming right before my eyes !

too fabulous for words. Talent extraordinaire.
If you search "Flowers from a Secret Admirer" at the US Copyright Office it lists Billy Barber as the sole author of this piece. (cocatalog.loc.gov)
