Niavarān Palace Complex is situated in the northern part of Tehran, Iran. It consists of several buildings and a museum. The Sahebqraniyeh Palace from the time of Nasir al-Din Shah of Qajar dynasty is also inside this complex. The main Niavaran Palace, completed in 1968, was the primary residence of the last Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and the Imperial family until the Iranian Revolution. The main palace was designed by the Iranian architect Mohsen Foroughi.

  • God bless the Shah of Iran who loved Iran more than anything in his life.He became the thorn in the USA & the British eyes for not renewing the 25 yr old expiring oil contract of 1954 in 1979.Overthrow of the modernizer Shah of Iran by Jimmy Carter & evil Brits might be taboo subject in the west but it isnt their best kept secret amongst us Iranians. The west who was behind the Shah's fall in 1979 has appeased the Mullahs & has opposed regime change in Iran.Iranians will not forget nor forgive.
