The singer isn't even doing the vocals. The high pitched lead guitar is a sample. The lighting is bland, they look bored as hell. I saw them in Glasgow doing this, and was bored the entire time. Don't get me wrong, I ADORE Spiderland, and consider it one of the most important records I've ever heard, but the reformation really put me off them, as a group of musicians, for a long time. I couldn't believe how uninterested they seemed in doing the gig.

@IronicKismet took the words outta my mouth

The best part of this phenomenal song is the last 2 and half minutes where the guitar snakes around the pounding snare drum.

where the fuck i had to be that night but there

i think the fact they arent moving fits completely with the vibe of their music

@TallFastLoud I have seen them live and the whole band faced away from the audience the whole time (in Boston). The audience was heckling them "Hey! play the one that goes quiet then loud then quiet again!" and they were completely self-absorbed; it's like they completely ignored the audience. It was good but a short time before some Berklee students covered the entirety of Spiderland and the Berklee cover band was better than Slint

I like how Brian is on the side as opposed to being in the center like most lead singers. It looks more band like to me

Great drummer, smooth tune.

Whoever did lighting for this show should be shot in the face.

There shouldn't be any lighting at all. This song should be played in complete darkness.
