Jim Bradley, MPP for St. Catharines, ON, Niagara Falls MPP Kim Craitor, FirstOntario Credit Union, and the ACT Foundation make a major announcement: more than 5,700 Niagara Region high school students will be trained each year on the use of AEDs - empowering a generation of young people with the skills to save lives. Funding provided by the Government of Ontario and FirstOntario Credit Union will also provide AEDs for Niagara high schools. ACT's national health partners, AstraZeneca Canada, Bristol-Myers Squibb Canada, Pfizer Canada and sanofi-aventis, provide sustaining funding for the ACT Foundation and are behind ACT's efforts to establish the program in the Niagara Region and across Canada.
