  • Hey, Dr. Z I just wanted to tell u we really appreciated the shout out and keep up the good work, I learn a lot from you, your helping me out in my career

  • @biggmann118 Cool. Thanks for watching.

  • @biggmann118 Thanks. Keep up the good work.

  • Dr. Z, Some A/C package units have 2 whips going to them, and some have only 1. For the unit that only has 1 whip, the heat kit takes 60 amp breaker(10Kva), but what about the compressor?

  • @blissJesus1 Residential systems will take either a 30 or 40 amp breaker, depending on the tonnage of the system.

  • @yllekr123 Zowie! that's some really big stuff starting all at once.

  • @DrZarkloff Most of the pumps were 500hp. The blowers for the activated sludge were 2500hp.You get just two pumps starting at the same time plus a blower, power consumption really hit a spike. The way we were charged is between certain hours which were 6am to 9pm we were billed at the rate of the highest spike for that day. Flow always picks up around 9am and usually did not drop unitl after10 at night. Sequencing of equipment coming on was planned as well to reduce costs.

  • @DrZarkloff No worries, just giving ya a hard time. My computer lately is also just slow as all get out when it comes to making videos from multiple pieces of footage. Looks like the. Next computer upgrade is around the corner. Prolly about $500-$600 worth. :D

  • @yllekr123 Sounds like a good solution especially if all of the motors were energising at the same time.

  • @pianomaestrostudio The soft start is supposed to make the motor/compressor more energy efficient on start ups.

  • @TheControlsFreak My computer had a hard time rendering the video. Sorry for the poor audio.
